A Conversation with Per and Eileen Hultquist Per and Eileen Hultquist are 2 musicians with a unique and relaxing style of creating music. Currently they and their keyboard/composer partner Tessalin Green comprise the group Logrhythm. Per and Eileen also perform on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder Colorado, busking and giving what they call a "Brain Massage"....using 2 didgeridoo, headphones and some hose and funnels.....an experience they have translated into the production of 2 CDs they call Brain Massage I and Brain Massage II. However, in the Brain Massage recrdings, they also combine didgeridoo with Tuvan throatsinging, keyboards, guitar, Hang drum, singing bowls, violin and other instruments They are also well known to attendees at the Jammin" Tree Didgeridoo Festival in California as well helping to organize and perform with spontaneous jams known as :The JT Ensemble".
We were fortunate enough to be able to have a phone conversation with
Per and Eileen in May 2007....here is that conversation, along with some
examples of their great music. They are wonderful folks, and it has
truly been a pleasure to get to know them a little better! |
